We begin with ‘discovery’ discussions, both in person and in your home. We aim to tease out your needs and key considerations, to inspire and provide invaluable advice as we guide you with all that can be achieved. This design consultation is integral to achieving the best possible result for you and your home.
A review meeting at which we will present our design recommendations, material options and an illustrative budget forms the nucleus of our discussions and will equip you to make an informed decision.
A full site survey at your home allows our team to fully assess the necessary work. We will discuss and agree with you the finer details of the job. Our project manager will agree a start date for the work and create a schedule that will be a road map to guide you through getting your new kitchen.
While we are installing your new kitchen, you have a single point of contact, so you have complete peace of mind. There is no need to chase plumbers or plasterers – Simple-Kitchens makes the process easy for you.
When you are completely satisfied with the work we have agreed, we provide you with a care pack with instructions for looking after your kitchen and your 5 Year Insurance-Backed guarantee certificate.
Your Journey
The no-obligation consultation
The process begins with a visit to our kitchen showrooms in Thame, Oxfordshire, or a chat on the phone about your project. We then arrange a meeting in your home to discuss your needs in more detail. When you visit our showroom you will see samples of doors, clever storage solutions and worktops to get your creative juices flowing. We understand that a new kitchen is a big investment and it is important to us that we get it right, so we listen carefully to what you feel is important. We discuss your budget so that there are no unwelcome surprises when you get your quote!
The Design Process
Next, we translate our discussions into an initial design and estimate using our state-of-the-art design software. We then present our design and estimate to you at our showroom to ensure you are happy with the details. The initial design and estimate is a starting point; we are happy to work with you to revise and refine the design to meet your needs and budget.
The site survey visit
When you are ready to proceed, we collect a 25% deposit and arrange a site survey visit. Our project manager, plumber, electrician, plasterer and other members of our team involved in your project will meet and review the details of the job. This allows us to negotiate and schedule the work and provide you with quotations for all of the associated works. At this visit we confirm all of the details of your order with you. After this visit, we will provide you with a start date for your project and a schedule of works to be carried out.
The fitting process
On the scheduled date, our team removes your old kitchen and carries out any preliminary work needed. We require a further 65% of the total cost on delivery of the new kitchen. We do our best to install your kitchen in as quickly as possible to keep the disruption to an absolute minimum. We always endeavour that you have access to food preparation facilities during the fix, and we always work as neatly as possible. You have a single point of contact throughout the process to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
The satisfied customer
On completion of the work, when you are completely satisfied with the work we have carried out, we request the last 10% of the kitchen price. We will provide you with a care pack with instructions for looking after your kitchen, which includes your 5 Year Insurance-Backed guarantee certificate. As the majority of our work comes from word-of-mouth, we ask you to spread the word by showing your kitchen off to your family and friends and sharing your experience with positive reviews. We stand behind our work, so you are welcome to contact us any time after you have your new kitchen if you have any questions or need support.
